Creativity

One of the things I love about creativity and crafting is its healing power.  Over the past few months I have dove into my scrapbooking, using it to heal my hurting heart.  The pages I have created over these past few months are some of my favorite pages ever! And since I haven't blogged in awhile I want to share some of my favorites with you. :)

I just love this layout for so many reasons.  I love these pictures of me and this layout is a reminder to myself that I am beautiful.  I also love the bright fresh colors of the layout and all the fun stamping on here.

I just love the simplicity of this layout. The beautiful photos really shine and the stamping just helps tell the story of capturing this beautiful butterfly at the farmer's market.

I love this layout for so many reasons. I love that I got so many photos on these pages to tell my story of visiting NASA in Houston in 2010 using Kerri Bradford's photo collages. I am SERIOUSLY addicted to these things! ;) I also love that I got to use a bunch of my space themed scrapbook products! And lastly I love the title that I was able to create with my Silhouette using the logo off the internet.

This is just one of those layouts where everything came together perfectly to create this beautiful layout. The colors, photo, and elements just make me happy to look at this page!

I have had these pictures on my scrapbooking to-do list for a few years now. These photos represent a dream lost and are a reminder of a difficult time in my life. Although I loved teaching, there were so many parts of this job that I absolutely hated! Now that I am back in the teaching profession I was able to pull these pictures out and document my first classroom.  I just love the bright colors on here and the fun die cuts that I sprinkled across the top of my page. :)

This layout was inspired by a layout on Nichol Magouirk's blog. She is one of my absolute favorite scrapbook inspirations and I just love everything she does.  I had been struggling with what to do with these photos since I had so many.  Her layout was perfect and so I scraplifted it.  I love the fun and eclectic look to this page and I love that I got to use so many of my stamps on here. :)

Another project I finished during this time was scrapping my friend Emily's wedding. I was her maid of honor and I wanted to document the day. This layout is one of my favorite ones. :)

This was another one of my absolute favorite pages from Emily's wedding.  I just love how this page turned out! :)

This layout was super time intensive but I totally love how it came out! The bottom half of the page is my journaling taken from the blog I wrote that night. I stamped lots of the words to really make the journaling stand out.
